On behalf of the entire staff, I welcome you to Westover Hills Elementary School, home of the Eager Beaver Leaders! I am thrilled to serve as the principal of this school as I enter my 19th year as an educator. Students, staff, and parents are the center of success at our school. We here at Westover Hills believe that our scholars should be provided with ample opportunities to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and nurturing school environment. I believe that every child deserves a world class education regardless of their zip code, race, or circumstances.
I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University. I was a classroom teacher in Henrico County for 12 years before transitioning into leadership roles. I was Assistant Principal for 6 years before becoming the principal of Westover Hills Elementary.
As the Principal, my door is always opened and I welcome your input. I am excited to work and collaborate with the students, parents, and school personnel to ensure academic success for all students is sustained.
